Ewe & Ply

We are based in the market towns of Oswestry and Shrewsbury in Shropshire where we sell a huge, wonderful range of natural and ethically sourced wool, yarn and fibre from our little shops. Our yarn range includes our very own Shropshire Ply - a woollen yarn traditionally spun from the fleeces of our own flock and other local sheep then kettle-dyed by us in semi-solid colours. We also stock a wide variety of needles, notions, buttons and books.

Who's feeling festive?

There are little touches of Christmas creeping into each of our shops. Crocheted snowflakes, knitted paperchains, and behold! the return of our Christmas Stockings - hand dyed 4ply with a little bit of sparkle.

As usual we will be having a little break over the holidays, so our Christmas/New Year opening hours are as follows:-

Online orders

Online orders are sent via Royal Mail and are posted out within 2-4 days. Occasionally orders are held up by moving stock between shops. Please let us know if your parcel is urgent.

Both shops are closed on Mondays.

Our Stitchin' evenings in December will be the 3rd and 17th, 6.30 - 8.30pm in Oswestry.
