Ewe & Ply

We are based in the market towns of Oswestry and Shrewsbury in Shropshire where we sell a huge, wonderful range of natural and ethically sourced wool, yarn and fibre from our little shops. Our yarn range includes our very own Shropshire Ply - a woollen yarn traditionally spun from the fleeces of our own flock and other local sheep then kettle-dyed by us in semi-solid colours. We also stock a wide variety of needles, notions, buttons and books.

Woolly Season Approaches!

We will shortly be back to winter opening hours - open Thursdays again - which means Knitting School and Crochet School will be back along with all the other workshops we run.

It's time to be thinking about new winter woollies and cosy times ahead. Stuck for ideas? Pop in and see if we can tempt you!

Online orders are sent via Royal Mail and are posted out within 2-4 days. Occasionally orders are held up by moving stock between shops. Please let us know if your parcel is urgent.

Find Shrewsbury open:-

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am-4pm

Both shops are closed on Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Open Thursdays from 3rd September.
