Spend the day with felt maker Ruth Packham making the most mystical of British mammals, the brown hare.
Your hare will be sitting and maybe gazing up at the moon, whichever way you want it to look, Ruth will guide you through the needle felting process, using a mix of British wool fibres.
This is quite an intense process, but is broken down into manageable stages, and so is suitable to beginners who have some making experience as well as those with more needle felting experience. Bring your glasses if you need them for close work and be prepared to sit and concentrate for the day...it will take all of the allotted time and maybe a bit more!
You will go home with a finished hare measuring approx 12cm tall.
Saturday 26th October 10am start, to finish between 4-5pm. Oswestry.
All materials, and a round of tea/coffee, included.
