Are these the cutest ever balls of sock yarn? We have coveted these for quite a while and now they are on our shelves (and in our stash!). Don't save them for socks, try garments too.
100g beautifully wound balls of 75% wool and 25% nylon which give you 420 metres of knitting fun.
Needle size: 2 mm - 3 mm
Tension: 30 sts x 40 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm
For a pair of large mens' socks allow 100g or for a woman's jumper Size M = 450g
Machine washable at 30 degrees.
Shoppel Wolle are moving towards replacing the nylon in their yarns with a biodegrable and compostable polyamide fibre, and some of the lastest batches now have swing tags with this information.
Please note that the colour repeat in these yarns can be very long so depending on where your ball ends and begins it may look very different to the image shown.
