This spin is a gorgeous blend of local fleeces, each single fleece hand selected by us. It was scoured in Yorkshire then spun in Scotland by New Lanark Mills. With Welsh fleeces going into it, it is a truly British yarn. Traditionally woollen spun, it is bouncy, light and squishily warm. The colours are inspired by the hedgerow plants we see on our walks with the sheep to their summer fields further down the lane. Great for all sorts of garments and accessories, it has great stretch and the colours naturally combine well for stranded colour work. Cables look great in it too! Obviously everyone loves their own baby but this yarn is truly a delight to knit with and if I could only knit with one yarn for the rest of my life this would be it.

Please wash me separately the first time. Afterwards you can wash me cold in the washing machine but lay me out gently flat to dry. Love me for my resilience and squishyness and because I am a limited edition.
Please note that as this is a hand-dyed range there will be fluctuations in colour throughout the skeins. We strongly recommend that you purchase enough for your project as we cannot guarantee to have exactly the same colour if you run out later.
