It's all going to get a bit twisty...

Cables 1 - covering all the basics. The mechanics of cables, setting up. Simple cables, building up to a trellis pattern. Bobbles. Practice time. Includes abbreviations and chart symbols for all stitches used. Working flat or in the round.

Cables 2 -  Twisted stitches. Moving cables across the work, increasing and decreasing to add or finish isolated cables. How cables affect the fabric. How to fix a cable gone awry without ripping the whole thing back. Practice time. Abbreviations and chart symbols for all stitches used.

We recommend you bring a notebook. Please bring 3.75 - 4mm needles (straight or circular if you prefer to work flat, small circular of DPNs if you prefer to work in the round). Shropshire Ply DK will be supplied.

We will be running Cables 2 again as a separate workshop if a whole day of twistiness is too much!
