Spend the day creating your very own 'Birdie bauble'....of course for the tree at Christmas, but honestly you will want to keep it out all year!
Ruth Packham is an artist/maker based in Borth and has a habit of making quirky birds from welsh wool fibre.
These birdie baubles will be constructed with uncarded wool fibre, needle felted with dyed Cambrian mountain wool fibre and then finished with some wet felting.
Each bird will be unique to its maker, with Ruth guiding you through every stage of hatching!
This will be a fun day, be prepared to sit for a few hours, get wet hands and bring your glasses if you need them for close work.
No previous felt making experience needed.
Saturday 16th November 10am start, to finish between 4-5pm. Oswestry.
All materials, and a round of tea/coffee, included.
