Ok, hands up everyone who would really rather sewing up wasn't a part of knitting a sweater...

That's what I thought.

Let me introduce you to knitting garments in the round, and of a piece, with no sewing up afterwards. Done from the neck down, you'll even get to try it on as you go to make sure of your fit.

This workshop is split into three sessions, with plenty of knitting time in between, and is designed to get you through your first top-down sweater with the minimum of fuss.

You will need to bring along the needles and yarn for your pattern, you can pop into either shop to be guided through this stage. 

As the first stage is the most intense the first session will be 2 hours, and subsequent sessions will be an hour long.

Oswestry dates: Saturdays 31st January, 14th February and 8th March,  2pm start.

Shrewsbury dates: TBC

Please note that it can sometimes be a bit cool in either of the shops, so dress accordingly.
