Top Down in the Round Knitted Jumper Workshop

Fancy knitting a jumper in the round but feel a little awkward? Not sure what to do with circular needles? Ready to take your knitting skills all the way to a garment?

Come and join us in a knit-along. We'll provide the metaphorical hand holding and help you master the techniques needed to knit in the round and hopefully give you enough encouragement to finish it!

Based on our ever-popular Joy Of Sox workshop, you'll be knitting a mini-sweater (approximately small bear size) using double pointed, and fixed circular, needles.

You'll be provided with needles, stitch markers, a pattern for the mini sweater, and plenty of practice DK weight yarn. We can help you choose your first proper sized woolly as well. You should get most of your tiddly woolly finished in class, but should expect to finish off at home.

This workshop has an achievable badge. Bring your first completed top-down sweater in to show off and be awarded with your Sweater Star Proficiency badge :)
