This is a really delicious heavy lace or 3 ply weight yarn. It is so super soft that it feels like soft pillowy clouds hence the name Cumulus. With a glistening silk core and gentle halo of supersoft alpaca it is a masterpiece of spinning. Anyone who has lived and knitted through the 1980s has horror stories of knitting or crocheting with mohair but this is an absolute delight to knit with, an excellent alternative to mohair, creating the softest fabric with a beautiful drape and a delicate haze without being itchy or prickly.
A delicious combination of 74% Baby Suri Alpaca, 26% Silk, please wash me in cool water by myself.
25g of fluffy beauty gives 150 metres or 164 yards of delight
