Ewe & Ply

We are based in the market towns of Oswestry and Shrewsbury in Shropshire where we sell a huge, wonderful range of natural and ethically sourced wool, yarn and fibre from our little shops. Our yarn range includes our very own Shropshire Ply - a woollen yarn traditionally spun from the fleeces of our own flock and other local sheep then kettle-dyed by us in semi-solid colours. We also stock a wide variety of needles, notions, buttons and books.

After a hectic week involving TV cameras and then trading at TORM we moved our Shrewsbury shop up a flight of stairs to take up our new unit in The Parade Shops. Welcome to Unit 8a!

There are still a lot of boxes moving around, and we haven't quite decided where everything is going to live, so please bear with us while we get ourselves straight again.

The Shrewsbury shop is open while this is going on, but naturally there will be a few hiccoughs along the way. We also still have more online orders to deal with than usual (not a complaint!), coupled with a brand new team in our local Post Office, all of which means that processing online orders may be slower than usual. Please keep this in mind when ordering. We will be back up to normal speed very soon.

Online orders

Online orders are sent via Royal Mail and are posted out within 2-4 days. Occasionally orders are held up by moving stock between shops. Please let us know if your parcel is urgent.

Closed Monday and Thursday.

Our Stitchin' evenings in November will be the 5th and 19th, 6.30 - 8.30pm in Oswestry.
